{"id":14309,"date":"2024-06-18T07:56:32","date_gmt":"2024-06-18T05:56:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/f2a.fr\/actualite\/f2a-obtient-la-medaille-dargent-de-greenly\/"},"modified":"2026-03-12T14:40:45","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T13:40:45","slug":"f2a-wins-greenly-silver-medal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/f2a.fr\/en\/news\/f2a-wins-greenly-silver-medal\/","title":{"rendered":"F2A wins GREENLY silver medal!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/greenly.earth\/fr-fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">We\u2019re delighted to announce that we\u2019ve been awarded a silver medal by the independent organisation GREENLY<\/a>\u00a0!<\/h2>\n<p>This medal complements our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and our progress in reducing our carbon footprint over the last two years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Reducing our GHG emissions<\/h3>\n<p>F2A has launched its second carbon assessment for 2023 and has chosen GREENLY, a world-renowned platform that assesses companies\u2019 greenhouse gas emissions using a methodology validated by the French Ministry for the Environment and ADEME.<\/p>\n<p>The 2023 result is 19,400 tCO2e for all scopes 1, 2 and 3.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to an ambitious and collective climate strategy,\u00a0<strong>we have reduced our greenhouse gas emissions by 9% between 2022 and 2023<\/strong>, from 0.64 ktCO2e\/M\u20ac in 2022 to 0.59 ktCO2e\/M\u20ac in 2023. This performance is the result of :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Purchasing and using less emissive raw materials: the glass wool used to make our baffles is less emissive than rock wool.<\/li>\n<li>Our energy-saving plan: replacing a gas boiler with a PAS (heat pump), heating temperatures, turning off machines during breaks, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Optimising our material waste<\/li>\n<li>Optimising our transport<\/li>\n<li>Improving our waste management: re-use, reducing CIW and hazardous waste, recovering our wool waste, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Environmental commitment<\/h3>\n<p>F2A has been committed to environmental protection and ISO 14001 since 2013.<\/p>\n<p>For the past two years, F2A has been\u00a0<strong>actively involved in reducing greenhouse gas emissions<\/strong>\u00a0in line with the objectives of the Paris Agreements.
