TEXI JET
- High-induction air distribution textile duct

Description
The TEXI JET textile duct has been designed to deliver high-velocity air distribution between 7 and 15 m/s through rows of perforations specifically sized according to the aerodynamic characteristics of each project. This textile air distribution solution is particularly well suited to ventilation, air conditioning, heating, and air handling installations requiring long throw distances and excellent temperature uniformity in medium- and high-bay buildings.
Based on the principle of high-induction air distribution, the TEXI JET textile duct promotes rapid and efficient mixing between the supply air and the ambient air. This technology enables air to be distributed over long distances while maintaining low residual air velocities within occupied zones.
Thanks to its very high induction ratio (>20), the TEXI JET textile duct is particularly effective in applications with significant temperature differences between the supply air and the ambient air. It helps reduce thermal stratification and ensures uniform temperatures throughout the treated space, providing a high level of thermal comfort for occupants.
The high-velocity air discharge also significantly reduces textile duct fouling, ensuring long-lasting and efficient air distribution performance over time. This technology is particularly suitable for industrial, logistics, and commercial buildings requiring effective air distribution in large volumes.
The TEXI JET textile duct helps to:
- distribute air at high velocity over long throw distances,
- ensure homogeneous air mixing throughout the space,
- reduce thermal stratification,
- maintain uniform temperatures in large-volume buildings,
- control residual air velocities in occupied areas,
- optimize occupant thermal comfort,
- improve HVAC system energy efficiency,
- provide heating, cooling, and ventilation for large spaces.
The TEXI JET textile duct is particularly well suited to applications requiring long throw distances and excellent temperature uniformity in medium- and high-bay buildings, including:
- Public buildings,
- Retail stores and supermarkets,
- Exhibition halls and auditoriums,
- Sports halls and gymnasiums,
- Sensitive industrial production facilities,
- Printing facilities,
- Electronics industry,
- Metallurgical industry,
- Plastic injection facilities,
- High-bay warehouses and logistics centers.
Thanks to its high-induction air distribution technology, the TEXI JET textile duct optimizes heating, cooling, and ventilation performance in medium- and high-bay buildings while ensuring excellent temperature uniformity, long air throw distances, and high thermal comfort within occupied zones.

Operating guidelines
Effective upstream filtration
Regardless of the cleaning frequency, filtration is essential. A minimum upstream filtration efficiency of ISO ePM1 ≥ 50% is recommended to limit textile duct fouling and preserve long-term air distribution performance. In environments with high particle concentrations, ISO ePM1 ≥ 80% filtration is recommended.
Progressive duct pressurization during system start-up
Textile ducts are sensitive to pressure surges caused by abrupt fan start-up. The use of a frequency inverter on the fan motor supply, or a motorized damper with progressive opening and spring return (see our damper range), is recommended to ensure smooth duct pressurization.
Regular textile duct maintenance
Cleaning intervals should be established according to the level of duct contamination (upstream filtration efficiency, return air pollution level, etc.). As a minimum guideline:
- Once per year for polyester textile ducts
- Once every three years for textile ducts manufactured from technical fabrics
- More frequently in highly polluted environments
Refer to our maintenance and cleaning instructions for further information.
