Rectangular dampers – U range

The shut off damper UWG is designed to isolate ventilation networks in commercial buildings.

U damper exists in volume control version (UWO) and Airitght version class 1 (UWS)

Construction :

• Frame: galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminium (frame’s width of 110mm only)
• Blades: galvanised steel
• Lateral gaskets: stainless steel
• Blades’s gaskets : EPDM
• Control shaft 12mm
• Blades actuation with linkage (UWG) or with gear wheels (ULG)
• Manual or motorized control at the factory

Performances :

• Upstream/downstream: class 1 according to EN 1751
• Frame’s airtightness: class A according to EN 1751
• Acceptable pressure: 1 000 Pa for a length of L = 1m
• Operating temperature : -20 to +80°C

Options :

• Frame’s airtightness : class B or class C according to EN 1751 to reduce leakage rate in ventilation networks
• Painting

Available in kit version

The kit version damper is delivered in spare parts and is equipped with a new mounting system including angle pieces

Blades, top/bottom and sides are available in four dimensions:
• 400 mm
• 600 mm
• 900 mm
• 1200 mm

Those elements can be cut at your required dimensions.
