Description
The RI shut-off damper is a high-airtightness damper certified to Class 4 blade airtightness and ATC2 casing airtightness (formerly Class C) in accordance with EN 1751. It is specifically designed to isolate sections of ventilation ductwork in sensitive installations and environments with stringent hygiene requirements.
Thanks to its reinforced design and outstanding airtightness performance, the RI damper is ideally suited to cleanrooms, Biosafety Level 4 (BSL-4) laboratories, pharmaceutical facilities, healthcare environments, and other critical HVAC applications.
Manufactured from galvanized steel or stainless steel, the RI damper provides effective isolation of ventilation systems while significantly reducing upstream/downstream air leakage and pressure losses.
The RI damper is particularly suitable for small-size HVAC ductwork requiring maximum airtightness and precise airflow control.
