Description

In HVAC ductwork and industrial installations, thermal expansion, vibration, equipment movement and misalignment can generate significant mechanical stresses on ductwork systems and connected equipment. Without a suitable expansion solution, these stresses can lead to deformation, air leakage, premature equipment wear and reduced system performance.

The ELYFORM custom-made textile flexible sleeve and expansion joint have been developed to absorb these stresses while ensuring the continuity and airtightness of the ductwork system. Acting as a flexible interface between two pieces of equipment or duct sections, ELYFORM absorbs axial, lateral and angular movements, compensates for thermal expansion, corrects misalignment and reduces vibration transmission to the building structure.

Its flexible textile construction also helps reduce noise generated by HVAC systems and industrial equipment. By limiting the mechanical loads transmitted to ductwork and connected equipment, ELYFORM improves system reliability and extends equipment service life.

Each expansion joint is custom manufactured to meet the specific requirements of the project. Circular, rectangular, square-to-round, conical, oval, offset or complex geometries can all be produced, making ELYFORM suitable for both new installations and refurbishment or replacement projects.
