e·VAV selected for intelligent ventilation in the office extension of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility

As part of the office extension at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Guéret (23, France), SOGEQUIP Air Control selected the F2A e·VAV to provide intelligent airflow control, combining indoor air quality, ease of installation and energy efficiency.

Designed for commercial buildings and demanding environments, the e·VAV is the world’s first self-powered, connected variable air volume controller.

Using an integrated turbine driven by the airflow from the air handling unit (AHU), it generates the energy required for its own operation. This innovative design eliminates the need for a dedicated power supply and power wiring, significantly simplifying installation.

Equipped with CO₂, temperature and humidity sensors, the e·VAV adjusts the airflow to match the actual needs of the occupants. This demand-controlled ventilation strategy helps maintain excellent indoor air quality while reducing energy consumption, particularly when the building is only partially occupied.

The photos of this installation showcase the seamless integration of the dampers into the ductwork, highlighting both the expertise of the SOGEQUIP Air Control teams and the ease of installation of the e·VAV solution.

We would like to thank Vincent Ravier and the entire SOGEQUIP Air Control team for their trust.

This installation highlights how innovation, technical expertise and close collaboration can deliver smarter, higher-performing and more energy-efficient buildings.
