Meeting the acoustic challenges of data centers

JOBS

Data centers generate constant noise from air conditioning, ventilation and cooling systems (chillers, extractors, AHUs, etc.).

Generators are also an integral part of a data center, acting as back-up systems in the event of a main network failure. They are very noisy, up to 130 db(A).

Dealing with noise is essential to improving comfort at work and minimizing harm to the environment. For example, the noise generated by ventilation systems on the roofs of data centers is often significant and can create a real nuisance to residential third parties.

At F2A, we offer acoustic solutions dedicated to data centers. We design and manufacture specific equipment to effectively reduce noise, such as acoustic absorbing screens, acoustic louvre screens, silencers, acoustic hoods, caps and vibration damping systems (anti-vibration).

We tailor our solutions to the needs of each data center to ensure optimum noise reduction and maintain equipment performance. Reduced noise levels can also extend equipment life by limiting harmful vibrations.
