F2A wins GREENLY silver medal!

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been awarded a silver medal by the independent organisation GREENLY !

This medal complements our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and our progress in reducing our carbon footprint over the last two years.

Reducing our GHG emissions

F2A has launched its second carbon assessment for 2023 and has chosen GREENLY, a world-renowned platform that assesses companies’ greenhouse gas emissions using a methodology validated by the French Ministry for the Environment and ADEME.

The 2023 result is 19,400 tCO2e for all scopes 1, 2 and 3.

Thanks to an ambitious and collective climate strategy, we have reduced our greenhouse gas emissions by 9% between 2022 and 2023, from 0.64 ktCO2e/M€ in 2022 to 0.59 ktCO2e/M€ in 2023. This performance is the result of :

• Purchasing and using less emissive raw materials: the glass wool used to make our baffles is less emissive than rock wool.
• Our energy-saving plan: replacing a gas boiler with a PAS (heat pump), heating temperatures, turning off machines during breaks, etc.
• Optimising our material waste
• Optimising our transport
• Improving our waste management: re-use, reducing CIW and hazardous waste, recovering our wool waste, etc.

Environmental commitment

F2A has been committed to environmental protection and ISO 14001 since 2013.

For the past two years, F2A has been actively involved in reducing greenhouse gas emissions in line with the objectives of the Paris Agreements. Our commitment includes our entire ecosystem, from our employees to our suppliers and customers.

This second silver medal testifies to our ongoing efforts and determination to improve our environmental impact.
