The GNB acoustic louvre : An extraordinary achievement

Recently designed by our acoustic factory, the GNB acoustic louvre has quickly established itself as the benchmark for attenuating ventilation noise on building facades, while offering aesthetic integration on all types of buildings.

This time, our balancing factory in Saint Ouen sur Iton is showcasing this product through an exceptional achievement: the manufacture of a double-thickness hinged GNB grille with impressive dimensions—H3500 x W2500 mm—intended to enclose three electrical transformer rooms.

The objective: to allow the air circulation necessary for cooling the equipment while reducing the noise of the transformers, and to ensure easy access for maintenance or replacement of this equipment, which can exceed three meters in height.

A unique design that combines acoustic performance, design, and practicality:

• Blades with rounded profile will ensure a nice aesthetic and design.
• Hinges with integrated locks for secure and convenient access to technical rooms while maintaining high acoustic performance.
• Double-thickness construction (2 x 150 mm) for easy handling, simple installation, and guaranteed sound insulation.

Weighing over 1.1 tons in total including 460 kg per leaf these louvres are among the largest hinged louvres ever manufactured by our factory.
