With a delivery planned for 2022, the Hekla Tower is a unique project, both in its singular prismatic shape with sunbreaking facets and in its exceptional commercial offering. With its 220 meters high, 48 floors and 76,000 square meters of surface (including 66,000 m2 of offices), the tower will be able to accommodate some 5,800 employees and will include many common spaces: five restaurants, a 250-seat auditorium, a wellness area, two business centers, loggias and terraces at all levels on 2,518 m2.
Finally, on the 49th level, a rooftop will open onto a hanging garden. A technical and aesthetic achievement designed by Jean Nouvel Ateliers, the Hekla Tower will rebalance the skyline of Paris La Défense by inserting itself into a dense urban fabric located 300 meters from the Grande Arche and the transport hub of La Défense.
It will be the cornerstone of the urban restructuring of the great road interchange of the Rose de Cherbourg and, more broadly, the re-qualification of the circular boulevard as a vegetated promenade.
Requirements
- Through our client Cegelec Vinci Group, respond to the technical requirements of sound attenuation resulting from an air treatment decentralized by mini-AHU.
- Limit the propagation of vibrations in the ventilation system while minimizing the risk of leakage for networks located near junction points maintaining an optimum airtightness.
- Ensure the acoustic comfort of the occupants combined with significant energy savings complying with the energy labels obtained by the structure (HQE,BREEAM, Well, …).
F2A solution
As part of its customer's ventilation package, F2A manufactured and supplied 2643 MCE circular artight sleeve and 3524 CONFORT 50 circular silencers that convinced our client.
The C-Class certification (EN 15727) of MCE flexible connections was one of the determining factors for the project management. Indeed, equipped with an airtight gasket at both ends, it significantly reduces air leakage at the connection and thus limits energy loss.
