The “Manufacture de la mode” (Fashion Factory), located on the border of the 19th arrondissement, on a 9,000 m2 site, will welcome designers working for a French luxury goods company by the end of 2020. Fifteen companies, including the creation and production workshops that were previously located near Paris will now be brought together in one place.
The building, a white exo-structure in ultra high performance fiber concrete (UHPC) designed by the architect Rudy Ricciotti (National Grand Prix for Architecture in 2006), looks like a fabric whose weft changes according to the orientation of the fully glazed facades.
The 600 craftsmen expert in the luxury sector (bootmakers, feather workers, silversmiths, embroiderers, glove makers, etc.) will occupy the 25 500 m2 on five floors and two basements (technical storage and car park), 1 000 of which will be open to the public.
Requirements
- Meeting the high expectations of the luxury sector, through our client Bouygues Energies et Services, in terms of working comfort for its craftsmen and visitors in order to guarantee the performances recommended by LAMOUREUX acoustics consultant.
- Providing experience and a reliable industrial tool enable to produce custom-made splitters and circular silencers to reduce the noise level generated by 14 Air Handling Units and 423 compact Air Handling Units.
F2A solution
As part of its customer's HVAC package, F2A manufactured and supplied SONIE BS+ acoustic splitters and specific CONFORT circular silencers. These products were tested by an independent laboratory according to EN ISO 7235 standard ensuring acoustics targets required by the consultant.
