RCPS / RCPS-I

Characteristics

The RCPS is a constant-pressure control damper with circular duct connection. Supplied complete with a pressure controller, it is designed to maintain a constant air pressure within the ductwork at the beginning of a branch network.

Air renewal is controlled by a pressure setpoint provided by the integrated controller. As downstream pressure varies according to occupancy and demand, the damper automatically adjusts its blade position to maintain the required pressure setpoint.

The airflow measurement cross remains permanently installed, allowing real-time airflow measurement. Airflow data can be transmitted to a Building Management System (BMS) or used to control other dampers within the ventilation system, such as exhaust dampers.

The RCPS controller is also available in an insulated version, the RCPS-I, featuring 25 mm thermal insulation.

The RCPS and RCPS-I are ideally suited to fresh air management in multi-storey commercial buildings and complex ventilation systems. Fully adjustable and available with a range of options, including special coatings and insulation, they can be tailored to meet specific project requirements.

Construction

• Casing and blade: galvanized steel
• EPDM lip seals
• PBT plastic airflow measurement cross
• Factory-mounted PEL pressure controller (PEL-MOD with Modbus communication available as an option)
• Actuator mounted on 8 × 8 mm square shaft:
  • Standard Belimo actuator: LMV-D3-MF, 0–10 V control signal
  • Belimo actuator with Modbus RTU or BACnet MS/TP communication available as an option
  • MP-Bus and KNX available on request
